| Memo: | Cowan (1970: 11) stated:- Noted for record purposes. A name introduced in synonymy. The Felders said that "Isselia hippodamis" was a Boisduval label-name for Danis absyrtus Felder & Felder, 1859 (which they cited as Wien. ent. Mon. 3 : 240 [recte 270], Wien. ent. Mon. 4 : 275 [recte 245]), a Philippine Lycaenid actually named long before as Lycaena schaeffera Eschscholtz, 1821. "Isselia" Felder & Felder, 1862, having been introduced in synonymy and never since employed, is not available under Article 11 (d) as amended in 1963. Cowan (1970: 29) stated:- ISSELIA Felder & Felder, 1862. Not available. The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008). |
