Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- A junior homonym and a junior objective synonym of Lobophora Curtis, 1825. Lobophora was again proposed by Stephens, 1829 [July], Syst. Cat. Br. Insects (2): 143; and 1831, Illust. Br. Ent. (Haustellata) 3: 276. See: LOBOPHORA Curtis, 1825. Parsons et al. (1999) included LOBOPHORA Stephens, 1829; PHILOPSIA Hulst, 1896; and TALLEDEGA Hulst, 1896 as junior synonyms of LOBOPHORA Curtis, 1825.
