Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- A junior homonym of Ogygia Brongniart, 1817, in Desmarest, Nouv. Dict. Hist. nat. (Nouv. Edn) 8: 516, -Trilobita. The objective replacement name is Yigoga nom. n. [Nye, 1975]. Ogygia Hübner [1821] 1816 was proposed by Henningsmoen, Jaanusson, Nye & Stubblefield, 1980 (Bulletin of Zoological Nomenclature 36 (4) : 230) for placement on the Official List of Generic Names in Zoology. See: YIGOGA Nye, 1975. Poole (1989) included HAPALIA Hübner, 1821; OGYGIA Hübner, 1821; ACTEBIA Stephens, 1929; ACTOBIA Agassiz, 1847; DICHAGYRIS Lederer, 1857; PHLEBOEIS Christoph, 1887; PHLEBOIS Spuler, 1905; STENOSOMA Turati, 1924; STENOSOMIDES Strand, 1942; YIGOGA Nye, 1975; and ORBIFRONS Staudinger, 1877 as junior synonyms of OCHROPLEURA Stephens, 1829.
