Poole (1989) included PLACODES Boisduval, 1840; TELESILLA Herrich-Schäffer, 1856; CALLOGONIA Hampson, 1908; DEXIADENA Filipjev, 1927; and GOONALLICA Nye, 1975 as junior synonyms of EUCARTA Lederer, 1857.
