Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- P. niepelti is a junior subjective synonym of Bordeta tricolor Warren, 1896, Novit. zool. 3: 130. This genus was originally proposed in the Noctuidae, but has since been transferred to the Geometridae, where it was placed by Prout, 1917, Ann. Mag. nat. Hist. (8) 20: 127. Parsons et al. (1999) included 10 species and 11 subspecies (inc. nominates) in the genus PSEUDEUSEMIA.
