Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- This genus was originally proposed in the Geometridae, but has since been transferred to the Noctuidae, where it was placed by Warren, 1913, in Seitz, Gross-Schmett. Erde 3: 336. Poole (1989) included only 1 species in the genus SCODIONYX.
