Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- A junior objective synonym of Crambus Fabricius, 1798. Phalaena pascuella Linnaeus, 1758, was again cited as type-species of Tetrachila Hübner, 1822, by Bleszynski, 1965, in Amsel et al. Microlepid. Palaearctica 1: 177. Whalley, 1966, Entomologist's Gaz. 17: 72, incorrectly rejected the designation of P. pascuella as the type-species of Tetrachila Hübner, 1822, on the grounds that it was not an originally included nominal species; he had evidently considered only the species that Hübner had placed in Tetrachila on pages 52-55 and overlooked those placed in the same genus on pages 66-79.
