Memo: Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Thyridopteryx when established contained a second nominal species Psyche plumifera Ochsenheimer, 1810, but this was doudtfully included and, under the Code (Edn 3), Article 68(d), is not eligible for fixation as the type-species. See also: * Theridopteryx Chambers, 1882; * Thiridopteryx Swinhoe, 1892. THYRIDOPTERYX was included within the subfamily PSYCHIDAE: OIKETICINAE by Davis & Robinson, in Kristensen (1999).
