| Memo: | Fletcher (1979) stated:- Xanthisthisa was proposed as the objective replacement name for Acanthoscelis Warren, 1901. Parsons et al. (1999) included ACANTHOSCELIS Warren, 1901 as a junior synonym of XANTHISTHISA Speiser, 1902. Parsons et al. (1999, in Scoble) included 11 species and 2 subspecies (inc. nominates) in the genus XANTHISTHISA. |
