Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- C. riphearia was proposed by Hübner as the objective replacement name for Papilio rhipheus Stoll, 1782, in Cramer, Uitlandsche Kapellen (Papillons exot.) 4: 193, 251, pl.385, figs A, B, a junior primary homonym and a junior subjective synonym of Papilio rhipheus Drury, 1773, Illust. nat. Hist. exot. Insects 2: 40, Index [1], pl.23, figs 1, 2. The type-locality of P. rhipheus Drury was also in error; it was stated to be China. See also: Rhipheus Swainson, 1833. CHRYSIRIDIA was included within the subfamily URANIIDAE: URANIINAE by Minet & Scoble, in Kristensen (1999).
